While playing with her “Drill & Fill” play doh set at the age of 2, Geeny decided she wanted to be a dentist! She graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2020 and after 3 years of private practice, made the move to Melbourne, where she has worked in both the public and private sectors.
Born in South Korea and raised in New Zealand, Geeny is bilingual in English & Korean. She is a very personable clinician who consistently strives to provide holistic care for her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Geeny’s greatest passions lie with the arts. She holds a DipABRSM in French Horn Performance and previously played alongside many of New Zealand’s orchestras. Growing up in the countryside, she was also a competitive equestrian. With family members spread out all over the world from Kazakhstan to Spain, she lives at Melbourne Airport rent free, but when she is not there, she is playing tennis, eating croissants or waking up at 2am to watch Premier League!
